If you pick up the phone and dial the wrong number, you don’t speak to the person you intended. It doesn’t matter how sincere you are. It matters who answers the phone.
For centuries, we have been told that "Jesus" is just the English version of the Messiah’s name. We are told it’s a translation. We are told "God knows my heart."
But what if we have been lied to?
What if "Jesus" isn't just a translation? What if it is a replacement? And the most terrifying question of all: If you aren't calling on Yeshua, who exactly is answering when you say "Jesus"?
The Identity Theft of the Messiah
In the spiritual realm, names are coordinates. They hold authority. They hold frequency. They hold identity.
• Yeshua (ישוע) means "Yahweh Saves." It is a Hebrew name for a Hebrew King given by the Creator.
• Jesus is a name derived from the Greek Iesous.
Here is the hard pill to swallow: The Greeks didn't just translate the name; they culturalized it. Many scholars and truth-seekers have noted the phonetic connection between "Sus" (in Je-sus) and the Greek deity Zeus.
When you strip the Hebrew identity away from the Messiah, you are left with a Westernized, Hellenized figure. You are left with a "Gentile God" that fits comfortably into pagan traditions.
They are not the same person.
One is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. The other is a statue in a Roman cathedral.
The "Other" Spirit
Paul warned us in 2 Corinthians 11:4 about receiving "another Jesus" and a "different spirit."
Think about that. The Bible explicitly warns that there is a "Jesus" that is not the true Messiah.
If the enemy wanted to deceive the world, he wouldn't destroy the church; he would infiltrate it. He wouldn't ban prayer; he would simply redirect the address.
By changing the name, have we inadvertently been directing our worship, our energy, and our prayers to a counterfeit spirit? A deceptive entity that masquerades as light but keeps us disconnected from the true Hebrew roots of our faith?
It sounds radical. It sounds scary. But look at the fruit of the modern "Jesus" church—compromise, powerlessness, and confusion.
Return to the Source
This isn't about semantics. It is about spiritual warfare.
When you say "Yeshua," you are bypassing the Greek filter. You are bypassing the Roman Catholic traditions. You are bypassing the Council of Nicaea.
You are going straight to the source.
Demons don't flee from a translation. They flee from the Authority of the Name. If you feel like your prayers are hitting a ceiling, maybe it’s because you’re using the wrong key.
Stop Praying to a Shadow
It is time to stop giving your energy to a culturally manufactured image.
Stop praying to the "Western Jesus."
Start speaking to Yeshua HaMashiach.
The world gave you the name Jesus. The Father gave Him the name Yeshua.
Who do you trust more?
